The tour, which is challenging right from the start, starts at the municipal office/tourism office in Au. Turn right at the Fetz bakery. Follow the goods road, which runs mostly through the forest, to the Bergkristall-Hütte junction. Here, turn right towards Godlachenalpe - Brendleralpe - Säckelape - crossing to Vorsäß Argen. From here you can take a detour to the"Lug" viewing mountain. The panoramic view of the Dürrenbach valley, with Zitterklapfen, Annalper Stecken and Schoppernau is truly breathtaking. The descent follows the route via Vorsäß Argen back to Au.
